Come join us!
The O’Donnell lab is looking for creative scientists to join us at all levels. If you have any interest in animal behavior, microbiomes, genetics or development, please reach out! We are looking for people who have an interest or experience in these areas, but a desire to push boundaries to learn about biological processes is most important!
Post docs: Joining a new lab is an exciting time to carve out a reasearch path which excites and drives your curiosity. Experience with C. elegans or microbiology is not essential, and we are always looking for ways to expand our expertise. Interested candidates should email Mike describing their research experience and interests. Please include a CV and information for at least 2 references.
Graduate students: We are currently accepting rotation students, so please email Mike directly. If not yet enrolled and you are interested in joining our lab as a PhD student, please apply to the Combined Program in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) at Yale.
Postgraduate students: We are looking for postgraduate researchers to become an intergral part of the establishment of our lab. You would have a chance to take a central role in the setup and management of the lab in addition to substantial direct research experience. This position is ideal for recent graduates looking to gain research experience prior to graduate or medical school. Interested candidates should email Mike with a CV/resume and information for at least 2 references. More information on this program here.
Undergraduates: There are many opportunities to gain research experience as an undergraduate at Yale. Spaces and availability for undergraduates changes regularly, so please email Mike directly to inquire about open positions.
